It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we inform our members of the passing of Valois Pool alumni Patrick Neely. Pat was a lifeguard at Valois from 2012-2015. He made a tremendous impact on our Valois Family and was loved by all who knew him.
During the four summers he spent at Valois Pool, he taught us our first swimming strokes; made us laugh during psych-outs; danced with us at pub nights, and biked with us to Wild Willy’s. He was quick with his wit, a smile and a laugh. His fun spirit and sense of humour are perfectly captured in this clip of Pat imitating Tyna during an episode of “Valois News.”
To those who knew him as Pat the lifeguard, he was a mentor and a role model. To those who worked with him, he was a friend.
He touched all our lives and we will remember him fondly.
We send our most sincere sympathies and condolences to Pat’s family and many friends. Our thoughts and prayers are also especially with Sophie during this difficult time.
